VIC ALL SCHOOLS T&F CHAMPIONSHIPS

Many more magnificent performances came out of weekend 2 of the AV All Schools State Championships, with additional medals added to the collections, tickets punched to All Schools Nationals in Perth in December and numerous PB’s recorded.

Congratulations to all athletes that proudly represented their respective schools and in turn, added to the wonderful reputation of Athletics Essendon – we applaud and support you, particularly as this is an early-season event when not everyone is peaking or where they may want to be for the season, so well done for showing up and giving your all!!

AV STATE RELAYS

Our AVSL Team Managers are working on gathering some interested athletes to compete at the State Relay Championships on Saturday, 25 November at Doncaster.

We would love to see as many of you as possible competing on this fun day where your normally individual sport will become a team event and you never know, you may make some new friendshipsand take home a state medal to boot!! Go outside your comfort zone and put your hand up for those longer distances if there’s a vacancy on a team because you may just surprise yourself.

Please get in touch with your team manager in the next week as entries close on 20 November.

Go Athletics Essendon!!
