Three of our very best AE athletes travelled up to the E.S. Marks Athletics Field, Sydney to compete against some of the best domestic & international athletes in their  field.  This proved very worthwhile for all three with two wins & a 4th place finish!

Chris Mitrevski, our Commonwealth Games/World Championships/multiple National medalist representative jumped a season’s best hitting the big 8 for the first time this season in the LONG JUMP & claimed the gold!  Great job Chris!

Mikaela Selaidinakos has it all coming together at the right time, adding another big win to her resume going into Nationals & another PB, with a lightning 400 time of 52.76.  Amazing Mikki, so well deserved.

Linden Hall, Olympian, Comm Games & World Champs rep, AE Senior Athlete of the Year multiple times over, continues to impress with her races leading into Paris Olympics, finishing the 3000m in a PB time of 8:40.59 & taking 4th place.  Congrats Linden, you deserve every success for all your hard work!

Kristian Lakusa, M50-54 was our only AE representative last Sunday at this meet but he certainly did us proud & made a magnificent impression on the field.  Kris competed in a total of five throws events which is no mean feat in one afternoon, & placed second in every event giving him the silver medal position on the podium, with a combined score of 2053 points.
