XCR’19 Presentations.

AV XCR’19 Season at a glance

For the Men’s Premier division, seventh at the Tan Relays, was the best finish for the season.

Since the team finished last on the ladder, they are likely to be relegated to div 2 next season.

The open women finished in fourth place.

A great debut season back up into div 1, after being promoted from div 2 in 2018.

With wins this year at Bundoora, Anglesea and Sandown and second place at Albert Park.

The open women just need everything to go right in 2020 and they will be pushing up onto the podium next year.

With those three wins proving that our best can beat the best in the comp we just need to consistently get five fast runners at every round of competition.  Our Women’s teams will remain in their current divisions for next season, while our Men’s Div 3 team also finished last and will probably be relegated.

The club thanks Steve Murphy for his tireless work during the past XCR season and also thanks those parents and other club members and coaches who helped out at the various (usually cold and wet) events.

The award winners in each division and the runners up, are listed below; congratulations to all.
