Linden Hall began her third World Championship campaign successfully after qualifying for the semi finals. Hall was part of the fastest heat and qualified for the semi finals with the third fastest time, 4:03.21, her quickest time at a World Championship. Hall was placed in the highly competitive semi final 1 which saw her forced wide before she managed to jostle her way back into the pack, before being forced to lead for the next few laps. Finishing the race in 4:04.65, saw Hall finish 12th and just miss out on qualifying for the final.
