Frances is an ATFCA qualified Level 4 Track & Field Coach and Lydiard Foundation Level 3 accredited coach. Frances Lipscombe has enjoyed a lifelong commitment to athletics starting with her own athletic involvement up to state and national levels.
As a middle and distance and steeple chase specialist coach Frances now works with Open age athletes with a focus on guiding dedicated, aspirational athletes to be the best that they can be. Frances has a coaching philosophy drawn from Arthur Lydiard’s principles and from working extensively with professional athletes from Ethiopia and Kenya. Throughout her career, Frances has coached junior and senior medallists to National Track, Cross Country, and Road (marathon) Championships.
