Again we were spread far & wide, from Geelong to Knox, with Meadowglen our “home game” for the week.
It was great to see some of our triple jumpers opening their account for the season along with Jack Hale’s blistering 200m in 22.65s, battling a 7.6m/s headwind! Just 2 more rounds for Jack to bring home some big points in the Play Off.
Again, a very big thanks to those parents and athletes who helped with our duties.
We finished in second spot behind Diamond Valley who used their Power Play to rise from 4th to 3rd on the ladder. The current top 4 teams have now all used their Power Plays with a 22 point gap between 4th place Glenhuntly and 5th placed Doncaster.
Our best Age teams this week were W14 and M16 (both 1st in Vic), M40+ (2nd) and MOP (3rd).
The Play Off timetable (draft) was released this week. The program will include a walk, long hurdles, 3000m, 200m, 800m runs, shot, hammer, triple and high jump. The relay is 4 x 400. You should aim to qualify in 3 of these events before the end of the regular season.

Congratulations to Sukhnoor Rangi for breaking her own club pole vault record at Rare Air on Sunday. Suknhoor soared over the bar to record 2.90m, an increase of 0.15m on her previous best!
