Congratulations to:

Amber McDougall for her election to the AV Board

Ian Williams for receiving an AV Merit Award

Peter Dunn for receiving an AV Merit Award

The only other current members with an AV Award are Arthur Whitchell who is an AV Life Member and John Higham who has received a Distinguished Service Award.

Past members honoured by AV are Alex Stillwell 1920, Hugh Weir 1935 and Ted Eastham 1974.

Tamsyn Lewis (who holds junior records with our club) was an excellent guest speaker. The Chairman wondered whether Tamsyn’s 18 Australian Championship gold was the highest for anyone. Our coach, PAM RYAN won 23 Australian gold medals – 16 individual and 7 in relays.
