Congratulations to Meggan O’Riley (photo) for her second consecutive gold medal with a jump of 13.30m. Also, congratulations to Chris Mitrevski for gold in the long jump with 7.90m.

Our thoughts to Nneka Okpala who is out of action with a seriously injured kneecap from the Victorian championships, and although ineligible for the Aust title (as a New Zealander), Nneka has won this event the previous 3 years.

An even more multiple Australian Championship triple jump winner, and gold medallist is Alwyn Jones. who continues an amazing sequence with another gold, jumping 16.13m.
