Notice of 2025 Athletics Essendon AGM

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Athletics Essendon Inc. will be held on Sunday, 24 August 2025 at 11:00am in the Bill Burke Room, located in the clubrooms at the Moonee Valley Athletics Centre.

Please find attached the Notice of the club’s AGM and nomination forms for all committee positions. The committee meets up to 10 times per year, usually on the first Thursday of each month. This is an exciting time at the club so why not join us.

Election of Committee Positions
Four executive positions, plus general committee positions available:

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary (Stepping Down)
• Treasurer (Stepping Down)
• General Committee Positions

Nomination forms are due at 5:00pm on Monday, 18 August 2025 and must be emailed to secretary@athleticsessendon.org.au

Special Resolution

Also find attached an Explanatory Memorandum regarding the Special Resolution to update the Club’s Constitution along with the draft Constitution for your consideration. The proposed updated Constitution was presented at the 2024 AGM and the Committee has worked since then with Club Members on amendments.
