Our Olympians have been busy competing overseas with some outstanding results!

Chris Mitrevski, our resident international long jump superstar, has spent the past few months recovering from injury. At the Seiko Golden Grand Prix in Tokyo on May 18, he looked well on his way back to top form, recording a huge 7.95m to claim fourth place—just seven centimetres shy of a podium finish. A big welcome back to the big man and congratulations from all of us at AE!

Meanwhile, three-time Olympian and all-round champion Linden Hall was making waves in Los Angeles at the Sound Running Track Fest, where she broke the tape in the 5000m with an incredibly dominant win, clocking 14:43.61. Known primarily for the 1500m, Linden showed her versatility in stunning fashion, not only securing a World Championships qualifier but also moving into No.2 all-time in Australian history for the distance.
