Superstar powerhouse, Ela Uzun continues to smash the race walk records at AE & at State level.  Last Saturday at Doncaster, Ela blitzed the 3000m walk with a time of 13:26.0 (collecting her & the Club a massive 493 points).  This eclipsed the AV U14 & U15 state records aswell as breaking all 3000m walk records at AE for women U14 to Open!  This is not Ela’s first time breaking records this season & we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us come States & Nationals!!  Go Team Ela, we are so proud of you!

PLEASE HELP US TO HELP YOU & OTHERS BY COMPLETING THIS QUICK SURVEY

A survey on free period products at our club

As part of the Clubs partnership with ELAC and Council to install the complimentary Period Product Dispenser in the women’s changing rooms we would like to encourage our athletes, parents and team managers to take 10 mins to support this piece of important research.

What impact does free period products at our club have for people who menstruate? Does it help eliminate a barrier to participating in athletics?

Share the Dignity and researchers at Victoria University are keen to understand whether free period products help reduce anxiety when playing sport. Findings from this national survey will assist to guide government and sports to drive change. We welcome people who menstruate to complete the following 10 min survey https://vuau.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9HVTHGcsrRJ2IN8
