Both of the Essendon under 20 girls performed extremely well. In a home field for lots of Africans Both finished in the first half. Amelia Mazza-Downie (photo) was 35th in 21.28. Lauren Ryan was 44th in 21.56. Amelia and Lauren were 1st and 2nd of the 5 Australians.

 Liam Adams competing in his amazing 8th IAAF World Cross Country finished 61st. Also in first half of a large field.
