Essendon is on track to become the largest athletic club in Victoria. Our current membership of 279 is well above the largest, perhaps ever.

Also, with Victorian Chanpionships approaching we hope that you can assist in helping your club win the H H Hunter Shield. This is given to the club with highest points based on first 8 athletes in every Victorian Open Championships. In recent years Essendon has been in the top two every year with 11 wins since 1980, five of those since 2007.

The third potential leadership position for Essendon is in AV Shield premierships. We expect 8 teams to be competing in the finals.
