BILL BURKE SCHOLARSHIPSbill_burke

Bill Burke Scholarships are a continuous feature of our club. The scholarship provides free club membership for two years and one free singlet or crop top. There are ten scholarships. This number will be permanently maintained. When athletes complete their two years, new scholarships are awarded.

Coaches, committee members and anyone associated with our club may recommend appropriate athletes for the scholarships. The athletes selected will not necessarily be top athletes. Bill’s wish was to encourage people to stay in the sport, who for financial or other reasons may have drifted away.

Recommendations for these scholarships may be given to a committee member or e-mailed to enquiries at this web site. A couple of sentences are needed explaining why the recommendation should be considered.
